Both TABS and NABS host listservs to facilitate the interaction between students across the state and beyond. Listservs are email programs designed to allow individuals to send messages simultaneously to a wide range of subscribers. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: working with readers, interaction between students and DSS offices, questions about assistive technology, discriminations, practicing independence, and employment issues. Because this service has proven to be a valuable source of information, students are strongly encouraged to subscribe to both lists. To subscribe to the TABS list, please send a blank e-mail to: tabs-nfb-texas-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. If you experience difficulty subscribing, please do not hesitate to contact our TABS web master To subscribe to the NABS list, please send an email message to: listserve@NFBnet.org. Leave the subject line blank, and in the body type in lower case letters "subscribe nabs-l," without the quotes. If you experience problems subscribing please Contact David Andrews To find other lists for students interested in computer science, law, writing/journalism, etc. check out NFB Net.
