As yet another form of reaching out to blind students and the community at large, TABS produces an annuall newsletter, Keeping TABS, with articles written by and for the blind. No one will deny that there are plenty of sources regarding blindness, but we believe the information becomes more beneficial when the reader is directly exposed to the accomplishments of someone who is actually living the experience. This is not to say that all of the articles portray a sense of pure success. Life would be dull were there no struggles, but readers are shown ways to deal with certain situations in a responsible self-advocating manner. We invite you to read our most recent copy of Keeping TABS in hopes that you will find the material useful and inspiring.

NABS also produces its own magazine, The Student Slate. Here, students are provided with an amplified version of the TABS newsletter. Again, students are highly encouraged to use both resources.
